Rest In Peace Joe Coleman

As I'm sure you know, we lost way too many former major leaguers in 2025. One of those was 15 year veteran Joe Coleman. Coleman pitched for seven teams in his career but was best known (at least to me) as a Tiger.
His 1975 Topps card is one of my favorites. Between the chew in his cheek and picturing him having a catch with another player, along with the amazing 1975 Topps card, you just can't beat the card.
For those that don't remember him, Coleman won 142 games in his career which is pretty impressive considering he never played for a good team in his entire career. He spent the majority of his time with the Senators & the Tigers, two teams that didn't win nearly enough games during his time there. He finished his career bouncing between horrible Cubs, the no longer Amazing A's, the second year Blue Jays & the poor Giants.
Ironically, due to 10 innings with the 1979 Pirates (his farewell tour,) Coleman likely earned a World Series ring with the "We Are Family" Pittsburgh Pirates. I cannot confirm this, but today, every player who even appeared in a game for the World Series winner does get a ring. I hope Joe got one!
Rest in Peace Joe Coleman, your 1975 Topps card was one of my favorites making you a Baseball Card Memory!
