Rest In Peace Franco Harris
1980 Topps Franco Harris This is the toughest Sportscard Memory to do so far. Last week, we lost a true legend in the sport of football. To the best of my knowledge, he wasn't sick, he didn't have any kind of illness, he just passed away. Just days before his number would be retired on the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception. I'm not going to go into details of his career like everyone else has. You already know how good he was on and off the field. I want to talk ab

1975 Topps Denny Doyle
As the years pass by, it gets harder and hard to say goodbye. Every time we lose a player from my youth, it gets harder and harder to deal with. We lost another today. Denny Doyle, a second baseman who played for the Phillies (my local team) before I was old enough to know what was going on, passed away. I best remember Doyle from the 1975 Topps baseball card as that was the year I truly started collecting cards. He was a good little ballplayer who hit a little and fielded a

1988 Donruss Baseball's Best Tom Browning

We were wild back then! One of the key members of that 1990 Reds team that swept the A's was Mr. Perfect, Tom Browning. He

1975 Topps Gaylord Perry
As I'm sure you know by now, Gaylord Perry passed away just a short while ago. He was 84 years old when he passed. The funny thing about Perry is, he always looked so much older than he actually was. I'm thinking part of that is I was a young pre-teen/teen while he was active so a 40something year old man looked 100 to me. What I most remember about Perry is of course the spit ball. I remember he came out against Pete Rose going into the HOF because of his gambling. I always
