Rest In Peace Vic Harris

We continue to remember former major leaguers who passed away in 2025 with former utility player for the Cubs, Cardinals, Rangers, Brewers & Giants, Vic Harrs.
First of all, I never knew that he played for the Brewers. I followed them as closely as any 11 year old could back in 1980 and never saw his name mentioned. He was signed as a free agent by the Brewers before the 1980 season and appeared in 34 games.
Something I found interesting about Vic Harris was he was traded for many pretty good players. Players involved in his trades include Bill "Mad Dog" Madlock, Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins, Willie Crawford, Mike Caldwell, John D'Acquisto and Dave Rader. Some pretty big names and some sold players.
I always remembered his 1975 Topps card because of the odd skin color of his face. I don't know if it's the lighting or something else, but I always found his face on this card a bit odd. And for that reason, he will always be a Basball Card Memory. Rest In Peace Vic Harris!
